PTT Philippines, a subsidiary of Thailand’s PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (PTT OR), celebrates the persistent spirit of Filipinos to go the “extra mile” in their life journey through the oil firm’s “Go with PTT” campaign.
In a media launch Friday in Makati, PTT Philippines Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer Athiwat Rattanakorn said the campaign is PTT’s way of paying tribute to Filipinos’ nature of pursuing goals, dreams, and other aspirations despite many challenges.
“That is our common denominator. PTT also aspire to keep on offering the best products and services and the idea of reliability that our customers could count on -- a smooth experience that enhances journey, and a hassle-free operation that is focused on what matters most—the path forward,” he said.
“This campaign is not just a marketing ploy. We also want to be part of that journey of Filipinos, providing them products and services that of international standards, giving them savings in the process, and provide opportunities, among others,” Mr. Rattanakorn added.
Talking to reporters, he also introduced PTT OR as the oil and retail flagship of Thailand’s PTT Group that has close to 3,000 retail station worldwide and diversifying into non-oil business like its chain of Café Amazon that now has 4,700 stores globally and convenience store that has 2,300 branches.
Apart from Thailand, the PTT brand has presence in various countries like Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Oman, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
In the Philippines, PTT’s business segments are into Aviation, Commercial, Distribution, Retail, and Non-Oil, the Café Amazon.
For the next five years or until 2030, PTT Philippines aspires to increase its market shares in Retail and Commercial Sectors, targeting at least 280 stations from its current 170 stations, increasing the number of Café Amazon stores to 100, and putting up charging stations for electric vehicles.
“Because we believe in Filipinos and the untapped market in the Philippines, we are pouring in more investments in this country,” Rattanakorn added.
